The Fine Art Finals is in its second year in awarding scholarships to students who make art. You do not need to be an art major to apply for this competition, and many forms of media are accepted. The competition invites art in media from drawing, printmaking, photography, and graphic design to sculpture, jewelry, fibers, and digital arts. The finalists of the competition are judged based on the “quality, creativity, and originality of their work.” At Oberlin, we compete in the midwest division, and the winner receives $1200.
