Please join the Art Department on Tuesday, April 22nd at 3 pm in hearing Vandana Bawja’s OKUM Post-doctoral Fellowship Candidate Lecture, “A Pre-History of Green Architecture:  Otto Koenigsberger and Tropical Architecture, from Princely Mysore to Post-Colonial London.”

Ms. Baweja, a graduate student at the University of Michigan, is a candidate for an OKUM (Oberlin-Kalamazoo-University of Michigan) post-doctoral fellowship at Oberlin.  She will speak on her dissertation research, which addresses the architect and planner Otto Koenigsberger (1908-99), who worked in Asia, Africa and Latin America while founding the Department of Tropical Architecture in London, England.  After her talk, she will meet with interested students (please let Erik Inglis know if you would be interested in meeting with her).
