As the end of the module nears, we all have midterm exams, papers, or presentations looming ahead of us. However, do not fret! The lovely reference assistants in the Art Library can help guide you in thorough and efficient research. They are available in person in the art library Sunday through Thursday nights between 7:00 and 10:00 pm. They can also be reached through instant messenger (meebo, aim, yahoo, and gchat) at those same times. If you need assistance at any other time, email art.help@oberlin.edu.
If you don’t have specific questions but need a place to start, try Ask Clarence. It is a collection of over 300 web sites, indexes, dictionaries, and other reference tools identified by Oberlin College Art Library staff as the best places to start art research. Just click on the period/culture, medium, and tool type you’re looking for and go.
