The Art Outreach Gallery, The Warren Junior Women’s League/GFWC and The Eastwood Mall are hosting a Juried Student Exhibition. Students of at least eighteen years and who are registered in a Visual Studio Arts Program at a university or college within 200 miles of Niles, Ohio are eligible to enter. Students must enter by completing the entry form and pay a $20 entrance fee. The entry form can be downloaded at www.artoutreach.org.
The Exhibition will be juried by father and son, who are art collectors in the area. $1500.00 will be awarded as well as gift certificates and other donated items. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, June 7th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. An awards ceremony will also be held on that day at 6:00pm. The Exhibition runs from June 6th through August 10th, 2008. The Event is open to the public.
The Art Outreach Gallery is an art appreciation initiative and community development project. The Gallery serves the community by exhibiting artwork from local youth and adult artists. The Gallery is located in The Eastwood Mall in Niles, Ohio. The Gallery is free to enter and the hours of operation are Fridays 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturdays 1:00pm to 9:00pm and Sundays 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
